wool for the kitties

Some wool arrived in the mail this week.

Blue wool for Greedo

Purple wool for Somerset

I'm planning to use the blue and purple yarn to make them cat beds. The plan was to get one started next weekend during the Cat Bohrdi workshop. Now another option is do make 2 kitty pi's. Or maybe a Pi for 2? I was initially going to make one for the 2 of them (still a possibility). Somerset will definitely use it - she was kneading away on the skeins of yarns while I took these pictures. Greedo always thinks that the most comfy place in the house is wherever Somerset is. So he will go sit right beside her (if not on top of her), and all of a sudden, Somerset is gone, and Greedo has taken her place. Given enough room, they do cuddle for naps. So if Somerset uses her cat bed, Greedo will end up going in it as well. Which may lead to some amusing games of musical cat beds if there are 2 of them.

Gorgeous wool! No wonder the kitties love this. The colours look great. I've just finished my ruffled shoulderwarmer, and will be casting on for the matching wristwarmers later today :-) Going yarn shopping with a friend next weekend!

Is Greedo rolling his eyes? Like, mom, why are you making me pose next to this yarn??
Too cute! And I love the yarn!

Greedo "Vanted to be alone" as you can see here:

Both of them have learned to recognize the autofocus light, and go from looking wide eyed and adorable to looking like sullen teenagers in the time it takes the shutter to open. It's like a secret power.
